After-school Activities

Scoil Bhríde offers a wide range of after-school activities for the girls to enjoy and learn new skills. You will find details of all these activities below.

The 'Be Creative Art Club' takes place in Scoil Bhríde on:

Mondays at 2.30 – 3.45

The class is open to girls from 1st to 3rd class

The cost is €50 per 6-week term

Club Spraoi is an after-school club where children do fun activities through Irish.
It is open to children from 3rd to 6th class.
Classes take place on:
  • Mondays for 5th & 6th class, 2.30 - 3-.30
  • Thursday for 3rd & 4th class, 2.30 - 3-.30
The cost of each class is €10 and numbers are limited to 12 children per session.

The Eimear Sheehan School of Speech and Drama runs on Wednesdays after school from 2.30-3.35pm for girls in 2nd-4th class.

Most of the group have opted to complete grade examinations before Easter, so we practice poetry and mime in preparation for this. We play lots of drama games as well as completing mimes, improvisations and other drama activities.

Cost is €110 per child for 12 weeks

Rachel Downes homework club runs on Mondays & Wednesdays from 2.30pm – 3.35pm

Children will have a quiet environment to complete their homework & I will provide additional help & guidance when necessary.

On completion of their homework, the girls will engage in activities such as reading, board games and art activities.

Cost:

  • 1 day: 6 weeks = €50
  • 2 days: 6 weeks = €90

Playball Kildare is run by husband-and-wife team of Jodie and David Bursey. We have been bringing Playball to Naas and the surrounding area of Caragh, Clane, Prosperous, Allenwood, Robertstown and Kilcullen for 18 years and we love what we do!

Playball is a highly specialized sport and movement program devised by sports experts, educational specialists, occupational and physical therapists Our Misson Statement “Using sports as the means, we provide children with a sound base from which to develop EVERY aspect of their lives.” The Playball Program Playball would like to offer your boys/girls a unique opportunity to engage in sport and physical activity on a weekly basis with our inspiring and fun-loving program. Our objective is to help enhance a positive attitude to being active and to develop essential physical skills, building a strong foundation for all ball sports. Our primary age range is 2 to 9 years, so we are a specialist early years teaching group. Children will be working towards: Increased confidence and independence -Physical Development-Agility, balance, Coordination and overall gross motor development. Social Development-forming good relationships and team work. Language for communication-understanding and following instructions. 

Playball classes in Scoil Bhríde Clane take place on Friday afternoons:

  • 1.30-2.30 Junior and Senior infants
  • 2.30-3.30 1st to 6th class

Cost per term is €80 per child

    The school choir is also running this year with Eimear Sheehan, Louise Johnston, Jackie Cribben, Megan Farrell and Aoife Flanagan leading the girls in a selection of songs both in unison and with harmony. 

    It takes place on Mondays at 2.30-3.15pm for girls in 4th-6th class.

    There is no charge for this activity.

    Tree Top Yoga takes place in Scoil Bhríde on

    • Thursday Morning – 8.00-8.50
    • Thursday Afternoon – 2.30-3.30

    All age groups can participate, and the classes are open to both boys and girls.

    Price for 7-week term: 

    • €60.00 per child / €115.00 for two siblings / €160.00 for three siblings
