Student Council

We are delighted to have our Student Council 2024/25 up and running again this year. The aim of the Student Council is to provide students with greater involvement and give everyone a voice in the decision-making process of the school. Through the election process, we are taught how a democracy works. Each 4th, 5th and 6th class is represented by a class captain. We have regular meetings where we discuss the suggestions and requests of our classmates with the teachers who help organize our meetings and assist us in getting our ideas brought to life. Ms. Heneghan, Mrs. G. Mac Glinchey, Ms. Barrett and Mrs. A. McGlinchey will support us this year and we are very excited and honoured to be representing our classmates on the Student Council. We are also very grateful to the teachers for working with us to give pupils a voice in school affairs. Our class captains for 2024/25 have been elected and we have already had our first meeting. We are looking forward to an exciting and progressive year ahead.
